Charlie Sheen Passes Drug Test

Troubled actor Charlie Sheen insists during an ABC TV interview airing on Tuesday that he is ‘100% clean’. But the actor wanted proof of his claim to be made public, so made a bet with showbiz news outlet RadarOnline to take a drugs test. 

He took the test yesterday and apparently passed. For now. First, an over-the counter home urine test was given. The First Check test examined for seven illicit drugs and five prescription drugs. The test, which claims 99% accuracy  for marijuana, cocaine, opiates, methamphetamines, ecstasy, amphetamines, phencyclidine (PCP) and prescription drugs tricyclic antidepressants, barbiturates, benzodiazepines, methadone and oxycodone can apparently detect marijuana for up to 40 days, PCP for up to 14 days and cocaine, methamphetamine and ecstasy up to four days.

The website said that three vials of blood were also drawn from Charlie’s arm by a court-certified toxicology laboratory technician yesterday afternoon. Those results will be back in the next 24-48 hours.

“I’m on a drug, and it’s called Charlie Sheen!”, the actor wisecracks in the interview. John Stamos, putting Internet rumors to rest, Tweeted, “Contrary to rumors, I am not replacing CharlieSheen on Two and a Half Men. However, Martin Sheen has ask me to be his son.”
