Cigarette smoke contains over 4,000 chemicals, including 43 known cancer-causing chemicals also known as carcinogenic. These include nicotine (used in Poison), tar (used in roads), and carbon monoxide (poisonous gas in car exhausts). There are also chemicals from nail polish remover, pesticide, petrol, fertilisers, fumigants and mothballs. A Cigarette also contains around 600 additives in each cigarette. Some of the additives are tobacco, paper and filter paper. All of these chemical are the cause of you increased chance of cancer, heart damage, your change in appearance for the worse. It also effects your lungs because of the 4000 chemical from the cigarette smoke going straight to you lungs.
