Duby Dee (Series) Episode Two Days of Nicotine

"Get out of my class!" Mr. Fluffy shouted.
I know you’re thinking I must have done something pretty bad to make a teacher throw me out of his classroom. Actually what I did was harmless as a butterfly. Well I’ll tell y’all the story and let you decide if it was or not.

The bell ranged for my third period class to end. I ran out of that class so fast, I left my friends coughing on dust behind me. Don’t get me wrong I love my third period class, being that it was the only class that was fun. But more than anything I was ready to get the heck up out here so I could go to bed.

I walked through the the hordes of students. Then I dodged a paper ball that I guy tried to throw at another guy walking beside me. Held my tongue when I heard some girl comment on how big my head was. Finally, I made I was on the route to my government class.

I was now behind a group of kids who also took government with me. When we all reached the area where the government class was, there was no one in the room. The lights were turned off and the door was locked. A student from a class nearby walked out of his class and told one of my classmates that our class was in room 100.

Man did I feel stupid, all that ripping and running I did was for nothing. I sighed and turned around to walk back down the hall of madness. I told students I saw from my class that we were suppose to report to room 100. I felt like I could have bit a bullet til I laid eyes on a boy named Aamir. He was tall, brown skinned, and looked like a prince.

“Aamir, we’re going to room 100,” I told him.

“Thanks for telling me,” he said.

“No problem,” I said smiling.

We walked to the class together without much conversation being that I was not much of a talker anyway. I was shocked to see one of my friends I left coughing up dust to be in the class sitting down at one of the tables.

“Hey, how did you get in here?” I asked sitting down in the seat beside her.

“It’s reveiw day, you know for the history part of the GHS test,” she said as if I was suppose to know that.

“Oh yeah, I knew that,” I said.

Aamir had sat in front of me.

Mr. Fluff our teacher, looked a bit more intense than he usually did as he passed out review papers. I wondered if he had taken his nicotine gum like he was suppose to today. See Mr. Fluffy used to be a smoker and now he was trying to stop so he chewed on this gum called nicotine. Students of his say when Mr. Fluff doesn’t have that gum, he is like a monkey who’s banana has been taken away from him.

The beginning of the class was going pretty good. Me and my friend Nia had been answering questions that were on the review sheet; majority of our answers had been right.

“Hey Duby you got a piece of gum?” Nia asked.

“Yeah, but it’s my last piece you can’t have it,” I said.

“I’ll give you 25 cent,” she said.

“Deal,” I said.

She gave me the quarter and I was about to reach in my purse and give her my gum when Mr. Fluff said, ” What did you give her?”

“Some money,” I replied in a bit of a too sarcastic tone.

“I didn’t ask you, I ask her,” he sapped at me.

Like a big dummy I laughed.

“Money,” Nia replied.

“Take your stuff and get out of my room!” Mr. Fluff shouted.

“Is he talking about me or you?” Nia asked me.

“Both of us, I think,” I said getting my stuff.

We left out of the room and closed the door. Nia was telling me to act like she had owed me money for something. Because like normal a teacher would come back outside with you and ask you questions. But a student came outside and told us to go to the cafeteria. I could hear the class laughing after the student made their announcement.

After I got back home I told one of my friends about the situation. They told me they had his class a period before mine and he was on his last piece of gum in the beginning of their class.
