Families That Deal with Addicts

       I have an uncle who is into drugs so much one day he had exploded on the family who just loved him.  It was my cousins 18th birthday and me and some family drove two hours to spend with her for her special day.  The time was very enjoyable the family was actually together and also having a good time.  My cousin was having a blast with a big smile on her face.  Not less than twenty minutes my uncle let out into a serious rage of anger and started to go crazy.  He ended up smacking my cousin in the face to where she was left into tears.  While, the next step he took was fighting my uncle to where my uncle was very hurt.  He had an broken eye socket in 3 different places, a broken leg in 4 to where only surgery would  be the only thing to help him walk again, and then he had a bunch of bleeding wounds along his face.  Finally, he hit my aunt and she fell to the ground and blacked out to where she didn’t remember anything.

      Within this story I saw what life was like when people have obstacles they can not overcome in any manner.  It showed that when you are so addicted to something there is nothing that can every really pull you away from that addiction until you want to get yourself help.  Drugs I saw in this picture are not worth losing a family or even worth hurting a family so bad that no one every wants anything to do with you again.  In the end my uncle  who hurt everyone was sent to jail and he finally had taken the plea bargain because deep inside he knew he was wrong.  This situation has taught me that don’t ever let something take over your own  life you control it no one else.
