How to Face The Addiction to Eating?

Addiction to food is the case of loss of control on behavior and the individual perceives that this behavior causes him harm, but he is continue it, as is the case with other types of addiction. So is the addiction to food as a result of person’s response to meet the desire to eat, or is it a disease condition?

When anybody talking about addiction, our minds understanding   addiction of alcohol or drugs. But there is another kind of addiction .it is not   least risk to health from other kinds of addiction. Food is necessary means for survival.

 Some people who have turned food to Way to kill their self.  When seeing food they feel vulnerable, and their behavior towards food is governed by desire not hunger. Many of them lost his ability to control the amount of food that must be eating and when eating.  The addiction food is a very serious condition has a negative impact on health such as injury obesity, diabetes and heart disease, arteries, and others.

What is the addiction to food?

 Addiction to food is the case of loss of control on behavior and the individual perceives that this behavior causes him harm , but he is continue it, as is the case with other types of addiction. So is the addiction to food as a result of person’s response to meet the desire to eat, or is it a disease condition? 

 Physiological factors such as addiction to alcohol and drugs, and psychological factors like anxiety, stress, shame and depression which plays the greatest role in the pathogenesis of addiction to food.

These factors sharing in the formation of addiction to food. That which is described to the behavior toward compulsive eating certain foods such as sweets as a result of the impact of chemicals released by the brain such as dopamine, making cravings eat more of them. This process is called the reward system. This process is called the reward system. The processes of eating are very complex and where the shares are controlled by many factors and systems.

 What are the symptoms of addiction to food?

 There are several symptoms appear on the person who is addicted to food, these symptoms are available at all age groups, including:

·       Discomfort and guilt when eating

·       Eating all the food in the dish

·       Eating rapidly

·       Living awakening dreams  and worried while eating

·       Eating  food  with cravings  appetite, especially after exercise diet

·       Eating to relieve anxiety and tension

·       Injury in overweight and obesity

How to face the addiction to food?

The aim of treatment of food addiction is to get rid or prevent from serious health consequences.  I am known the change is not easy. This will requires a combination of discipline, and healthy eating habits, and exercise. In many ways, and treatment of food addiction is like drug addiction and alcohol.  Here are some tips that will help you to get rid of the case of food addiction, including: 

·       Visit doctor

Get Advice of a doctor and dietitian for the development of a proper diet for your health

·       Replace your food

 Select foods that which consumed frequently and replace its in low calorie meals like fat-free milk instead of full-fat ice cream or a bag of potato chips, grilled instead of fried potatoes. Grilled meat instead of fried meat, drinking fresh juices instead of sweetened juice, drinking soft drinks instead of low-energy sweetened, avoid salty foods.

·       Planning your meals

3.4 The eating snacks and meals instead of two large and focused on eating foods rich in fiber because it gives a sense of satiety quickly, never forget drinking much water. It helps you to set the feeling hunger.

·       Training your taste

 Eat fruits and vegetables that have scents to get rid of the influence of the sweet smells of food.

·       Exercise

 Replace time of eating, shopping in Exercise and Sport

·       Use antiseptic (Listerine) to mouth wash and gargling, which contains materials to give you fell of satisfy desire to eat.  This method is used to extinguish the non- physiological feelings of hunger

·       Use small dish
