Weed B Gone

You are perfect.

Take this statement: “I am not enough”, now tell me your problems. Now, take this statement: “I am enough, in fact, I’m perfect”, tell me now what are you problems again? I would be quite shocked if your lists were still the same.

When we have doubts in ourselves we open the door for Fears to be planted, sown and yielded. Unfortunately, we take great pride in our fears (they give us an imaginary place of solace) and we will feed, water and love them so much that they end up growing larger than ourselves and take over like weeds. Now, all the while the weeds are growing we complain about all the problems and issues we have.

We even pray for the answers. But if we’re still watering and tending the weeds they won’t stop growing. They have to be taken out at the root (!Aha, the ROOT). It’s a tough one to swallow but as long as you keep telling yourself that you’re not enough the problems will continue. And, as long as you keep telling yourself we’re not enough your prayers won’t be answered. How will you recognize the answer if you refuse to accept you’re worth it?

Therefore, if you remove fear from your life you will no longer be able to receive it. Just like the answer to your prayers, you only receive what you’re open to.

This is only one of the ways in which we hold ourselves back and deny our true selves. I am confident in saying that this one “issue” that we are all faced with during our time here has the power to move you to higher ground, or push you six feet under. Fear and Love are both all encompassing, do the math. You cannot be fully”encompassed” by more than one thing. Your decision. You’re choice. Love or Fear? The power is and always was, yours.
