Why Do Some People Like to Smoke Though They Know It Harms?

I think it is more psychological action instead of need basis and some people who think Smoking is a fun and after a while they fall into deep love with it are the major victims who goes with it till the end.

Being a smoker I don’t know why I feel panic sometimes when I am working or thinking and ultimately I start smoking during the process. I think it is psychological instead of need.

One I was the hatter of smoking when I was a Football player and what a coincident I started smoking in the ground because there was so many people in our seniors who was smoking on that time. I think during the period of young age fantasy of a personality which you admire and you follow him blindly with his all worst part too because of fantasy around him, it is the key to get into this harmful arena. Media is also playing his part for spreading this disease when they present heroes in front of us who smoke during his big events with some unique and amazing styles. Followers of that fantasy based personality follow him blindly are the real victims.

In the last I know it is dangerous for my health but I don’t have will yet to get rid of it unless I start trying to quite from my this worst habit and stick with it with full devotion and passion.

In this information and research based world we have so many options available regarding, “How to Quite smoking?” or “Best Ways to Quite Smoking” in a month if you are looking for them. Their are plenty of, “Quite from smoking Tips and Tricks” are available online. Also there are so many forums who teach, “How to avoid Smoking?” lessons from senior and old smokers. So if we search on the net we will find lenty of material regarding, “Looking for Quiting smoking Tips?” so if some one say’s, “How I can quite smoking?” he must search online.

So if you are smoker and fall in deep love with smoking than my question is for you, “when you are going to start try to quite from smoking?.

  4. Well, that I don’t understand as well…they knew it is harmful but still people keep smoking.

  5. I don’t know why we do things like this. I know of someone who had lung cancer, got better after treatment, and then started smoking again. Makes no sense to me.

  10. @chipmunk is right.I now started to smoke 1 week passed due to stress.I steal from my daddy.I know that will turn my pink lips into black and nails into yellow and lung diseases but I won’t live it cuz it relieves me.

  11. I am not about to “quit” because we smokers have been made the scapegoats to the REAL entities to blame for this supposed bad health of non-smokers. RICH corporations and governments who benefits from all their handouts which DO pollute our atmosphere are the promoters of this idiotic campaign and thing “is” everyone swallows it. Statistically, the smoke from a smoker harms no one except of course the smoker “if” they do not take maintenence of their bodies into account. All cigarettes are not the same either. I smoke “pure” tobacco, picked from the fields, and not made by a a manufacturer. The main culprit of cancer which many attribute to us smokers, is automobile pollutants and “diesel” engines. Then there are the chemical factories that too pump billiions of cubic yards of their pollutants EVERYONE at one point or another BREATHES. Both my grandfathers smoked “pure” tobacco like I do, and both lived to be well into their “90’s” Smoking did not kill them. Old age did. I have asthma, yet smoking has never affected my breathing or any “attacks.” The world is not perfect and it gets tiresome of people always being prejudice towards others for one reason or another because people do not bother to properly inform themselves on the truths and statistics. I hope I don’t offend you, but just as I respect the rights of non smokers, they should know the facts before taking on a campaign that is making the rich even RICHER……..
