More meditation – more advantages   

Meditation provides peace to the mind and peaceful mind in turn provides easy going relaxed conditions to the body. To have a clear picture about the advantages of meditation one need to know how meditation works and why meditation is needed.

Thoughts, worries and unhealthy believes are our constant companion. They need to be kept away. Best way to do this is through meditation. More we meditate more advantages we can have.  

Advantages of freedom

A mind is just like a bird in the cage. It can’t work with full efficiency if it’s crowded by unwanted thoughts and worries. One of the advantages of meditation is that mind is trained to remain calm even in caged conditions.

Mind moves out of the cage and enjoys freedom. It gains freshness and energy. With plenty of options at its disposal it can work better. These advantages were not available earlier when it was caged. 

Advantages of being in present  

Usually we think of future. We also think about past. Both types of thoughts occupy our mind all the time. As a result we can’t understand the advantages of being in present.  

A good meditation method if employed properly can force these thoughts and worries to stay away and we can use most part of the mind on productive jobs. 

Advantages of meditation  

There are many advantages of meditation, some of them are:

Happiness: Meditation creates peaceful mind which leads to happiness in life.

Concentration: As we try to gain control over thoughts, our ability to concentrate increases. Decision making abilities also improves and we become more creative. These advantages occur automatically as meditation progresses.   

Stress: It reduces undesired stress and strain caused due to worries. Meditation eliminates worry.  

Health: Meditation provides better physical health. We feel like having more energy. A peaceful mind influences the body in that direction.

Patience: It creates tolerance and patience in the attitude. One never feels irritated by any incident.

Cure: Meditation can cure sleeplessness, release tension and produce relaxation. Meditation also helps to control blood pressure.

These are some of the advantages of meditation. One can notice these advantages within few days if meditation continued regularly.
