Bilberry growers are so careful in cultivating blueberry as its medicinal properties would be lost if one would use inorganic fertilizers and herbicides on the plant and the soil surrounding it. A balance in the use of Western and herbal medicine should be established by the government and medicine manufacturers. Yes, herbal medicine may contain chemicals that have not been discovered yet. But if our manufacturers would be so brave to experiment on these plants, then the likelihood of a certain disease to be cured may also increase.
