Chakras: Meditation

After learning how to meditate, I soon sort out different ways to meditate.
Someone spoke to me about energy flow and if my Chakras were free and clear, or if they were blocked, by anger and disappointments. They asked me if I focused on the entire body, mind and soul. After speaking with my friend, I sort out more information regarding “Chakras”, and I was greatly impressed, clearing the seven areas of energy, has made a difference in my life. It helps me look at the past, present, and set goals for my future.

            Focus on your Chakras, and that can help keep you focused during meditation.

Yes, is the normal response, Yes I would meditate and focus on “Chakras”, if only I knew what they were?

            Chakras are seven centers of energy flowing throughout our body. By clearing the path through the seven charkas, it is believed to have a positive effect on the body, mind and spirit. Flowing from the top of our head to the base of our spine, which connects us with the energy of the earth.

            The first Chakras, is usually a violet color, it is what guides our thoughts; it is the energy from the top of our head. If you are thinking negative thoughts, you have a “mental block”. You must clear the negative thoughts and create positive and pure thoughts and images.

            Your second Chakras is Indigo, is your window to past, present and the future.

What does that mean, well your past, teaches you lessons for the present and the future.

What you are doing today, affects your future, and perhaps the future of others. While your future is unwritten, your mind has the capability to shape; to help you set goals and attain the things you want in the future. Thus it is located in the eye, forehead area.

            While the third Chakras is Blue/Green, this is your connection to communications, thus is located in your throat area. It helps give you the wisdom, and support to communicate with people around you.

            Your fourth Chakras is very important, it is Green, and it is focal point to your heart. Your heart is of love, it connect you with others, giving you compassion toward others. If you have hate in your heart, your heart charkas is blocked. Perhaps it is “Green with Envy” or the “Green Eyed Monster” that you harbor, you have to let this negative energy go, so that your positive energy can flow through.

            The bright yellow of your fifth Chakras helps give you the ability to seek out and do want ever you desire. It aids you in attaining your goals, while this is located in your stomach region.

            While the sixth Chakras is located in the lower part of the stomach, it give us the driving force to attain what we want. “I feel it in the Pit of my Stomach” that is the energy force, sending you a message. That message is what sends you looking for what you WANT. Its color is orange.

            Your last Chakras, connects you with the energy of the earth. This connection is from our spine,  through our legs, it keeps us grounded. It make us  strive for what we need just to stay alive. This Chakras is Red, like the blood we need to survive. It is our lifeline to the energy of the world.

            I have found that by focusing on these colors, and words during meditation, keeps my energy lifeline, flowing freely. I start from the top of my head:

                                    Violet – Pure thoughts –Top of my head

                                    Indigo – Past, Present and my Future –My eyes/forehead

                                    Blue/Green – My ability to communicate – Throat area

                                    Green – My heart- filled with pure love – My heart

                                    Yellow- My ability to conquer – stomach region 

                                    Orange – To know what I want- Pit of our stomach

                                    Red- My desire to live –Bottom of our spine
