Blue color is associated with Throat Chakra. It enhances will power and communication skills. Its complement color is orange.

Indications of blue: Creativity, communication, truth, devotion, peace and faith
Physically
• It strengthens the respiratory system.
• It is very effective in treating all conditions of the throat.
• It promotes growth.
• It slows the heart rate.
• It is very effective in soothing all the inflamed conditions of the body.
• It reduces nervous excitement.
Psychologically
• Blue color is good for depression and mania.
• It eases the feeling of loneliness.
• It awakens artistic expression and inspiration.
• It is more effective in soothing the emotional conditions than green color.
• It enhances spirituality.
• It is very beneficial for introverts.
• It draws the ego outwards.
• It enhances the harmony with environment.

Blue is very effective in treating the following diseases:
• Insomnia
• Throat problems
• Stress
• Migraines
• Chickenpox
• Jaundice
• Infections
• Goitre
• Cholera
• Woofing cough
• Venereal diseases
• Itching
• Tonsillitis
• Kidney related problems
• Eye diseases like Cataracts, Myopia, Glaucoma
• Palpitation
• Gastro-Intestinal problems
Do not use blue under the following conditions:
• Paralysis
• Constriction of muscles

Precautions
1. Excessive use makes the person overly cold-natured.
2. Prolonged exposure to blue rays makes the people tired and depressed. This can be balanced by orange.
