Phyllanthus Niruri: A wonder Herb
Phyllanthus will treat many of your hailments. They are readily available around homes allover the world.
The Bible says in the book of Genesis that, He walked man around the garden of Eden and showed him all the plants and the grains that he had created-he instructed man to feast on them. In his divine wisdom, he had known that in the plants that abound in the woods, we were not only blessed with foods, but also with matural plant medicines.
Phyllanthus Niruri is one such great creation that passes for a wonder herb. It is commonly called Stone breaker in English , although it is named differently by different cultures and societies. It is a tropical herb that grows both along the coast and in the savannah areas of the world. It grows 50 to 70 centimeters tall and bears ascending herbaceous branches. The bark is smooth and light green. It bears numerous pale green flowers which are often flushed with red. The fruits are tiny, smooth capsules containing seeds.
Phyllanthus species treats an array of medical condition in humans with amazing precision. Pre-clinical trials of this herbal medicine has proved successful in the following areas. It could be clinically regarded as;
· Anti-hepatotoxic
· Anti-lithic
· Anti-hypertensive
· Ant-HIV
· Anti-hepatitis
The plant has been exploited for its medicinal value in Brazil to treat kidney stones where it drastically reduces urinal calcium which is responsible for the growth of the kidney stones.
