Reading Your Palm and Prediction Your Future

Every person’s hand is different in shape, finger length, finger nail type and skin creases that criss-cross the palm. Just as your fingerprint is unique to you and only you, so too, are the lines in your palm unique only to you. The pattern of these lines in your palm may also hold a forecast of your future or the tales of your past. This pseudoscience of fortune telling and prediction is called Chiromancy.

It comprises the analysis of the creases in the skin of your palm and what they indicate as they change overtime. It is interesting to note that the lines in the hand you favor (’right-handed vs. left handed’) will shift and alter the most over the years. Learning about the lines in people’s hands provides a profile of the person who belongs to them. They also tell about the various things that will or have influenced the life of the person.

Your hand has 8 predominant lines that run across the palm, of most people.

They are as follows:

1. The Life Line – if you have a long line you will have excellent health and of course a longevity. If the line is broken or has divergent lines spraying out from it, several different life paths are indicated.
2. The Head Line – this is the line that crosses the palm from just above the thumb to the bottom left side of the palm. When this line touches the edges of each side of the palm it may indicate a self-centeredness or goal oriented type person.
3. The Heart Line – this line is found below the fingers, usually between the little finger and the pointer finger. The degree of curvature of this line can indicate the level of sensuality and depth of love a person cares in their being.
4. The Fate Line – is a line that dissects the palm from the fingers down to the wrist. If you do not have a Fate Line, it is said you will not be famous, but if you have a double line, you will probably be blessed with several major vocational paths during your lifetime.
5. The Sun Line – this is a long vertical line from the little finger that curves down to the edge of the palm as it comes to the wrist. If the line is faint it means you are unable to commit or focus on your life path. It is also the predictor of luck and blessings.
6. The Health Line – is the line that crosses the palm from the little finger to below the thumb. If this line crosses over the Life Line it could mean serious health issues or inherited illnesses.
7. The Girdle of Venus Line – is a line that is shaped like an arch under the fingers directly and indicates emotional stability and the ability to manipulate other through emotions
8. If the Heart Line and Head Line seem to run parallel to each other or intertwine as they cross the palm horizontally it is said that the palm has a “Simian Line”. This type of line means a person’s emotions and rational mind are deeply enmeshed. The line may indicate they are passionate, creative souls that usually cannot lie or deceive and are advocates for causes that will affect humanity significantly.

It is always important to understand the lines in your palm from a position of how they affect each other…not just see one line and think that gives the complete view of the person.
