Right Food for Healthy Hair
Craving for shiny, beautiful hair? Feed your hair with the right vitamins and minerals to make it shine. Check out these healthy foods that will nourish your hair from within.
Best shampoos and conditioners are not enough to have healthy hair. Healthy hair is made from the inside out so start eating the right food for your hair…
EGGS

Hair is made of protein called keratin so adequate protein is necessary to your hair. A diet rich in protein creates healthy, shiny hair. Deficiency in protein can lead to hair thinning and can cause slow growth.
Eggs are an excellent source of protein. It also contains vitamin B6 and folic acid which is essential for the formation of hemoglobin that carries out oxygen to all parts of the body, including hair. Hair follicles that are not receiving enough oxygen can cause hair damage.
SALMON AND OILY FISH

Omega-3 fatty acids are essential for keeping your scalp and hair moisturized. It helps support scalp health by keeping the right levels of moisture. Having too little of this fatty acid may give your hair a dull look due to scalp dryness.
Salmon and oily fish like tuna, mackerel and sardines are rich in Omega-3 fatty acids.
GREEN COLORED VEGETABLES AND FRUITS

Hair needs Vitamins A and C too. It helps restore shine. It is necessary for producing Sebum. Sebum is the oily substance secreted by hair follicles all over the body. It serves as the body’s natural moisturizer and hair conditioner.
Broccoli and some green colored fruits like avocado and guava are an excellent source of Vitamins A and C.
Avocado can be applied to your hair too. Mash half an avocado in a bowl and apply the mixture to your unwashed hair from the roots to the tips. Leave it on for twenty minutes and then shampoo and condition as normal. This will make your hair shinier than ever!
