The Magical Rejuvenating Herb: Tinospora Cordifolia or Guduchi
Since the vedic age Tinospora Cordifolia has been used as an effective herb to treat several severe diseases. In Aurvedic literature the plant has been mentioned as one of the most versatile rejuvenating herbs that has magical potency to keep the body free from illness.

I do not know how much familiar is the name Tinospora Cordifolia (Giloe) among people in general today, but in Vedic age (the golden time of Aurveda) it was considered as one of the most rejuvenating herbs working well on all the seven Dhatus (the constituent elements of the body ) keeping the body free from all type of illness. Today, when Aurvedic medicines are growing in much popularity world wide, researches are going on to rediscover the magical herbs that were extensively used in ancient time to strengthen the immune system of the body and keeping the function of it’s various organs in harmony. Tinospora Cordifolia is one of such plants that have great potency to alleviate many dosas or impurity of body organs. Thanks to those scientists who worked hard to re established the medicinal value of this plant. What made me curious about this plant was an Aurvedic doctor’s prescription that he made for my cancer-suffering father. As par his advice, I used to extract the fresh juice of the stem of T. Cordifolia and served it to my father with cow’s urine and in combination with some other herbs (as suggested by the doctor) for at least one year. And now I can say confidently and firmly that it did work. What was most noticeable fact in my father’s case; it reduced the side effect of chemotherapy to a great extent. A brief introduction of Tinospora Cordifolia- It is a climbing shrub indigenous to the tropical areas of Indian subcontinent and China, naturally grown to an altitude of 300 meters.
