The Oil Effect

Here are some of the essential oils and their physical and emotional effects:

 

  • Basil:

Emotional Effect:   Burnout, memory and concentration.

  • Rosewood:

Physical Effect:    Acne, fever, stretch marks, headache, stress.

  • Cardamom:

Physical Effect:     Loss of appetite, colic, halitosis.

Emotional Effect: Stress, Guilt.

  • Cedar Wood:

Physical Effect: Arthritis, cystitis, dandruff, dermatitis.

Emotional Effect: Fear and insecurity.

  • Cinnamon:

Physical Effect:     Constipation, exhaustion, lice, low blood pressure, scabies.

Emotional Effect: Concentration, emotional fatigue.

  • Clove Bud:

Physical Effects: Asthma, bronchitis, immune system, sprains, toothache.

Emotional Effect: Memory and depression.

  • Coriander:

Physical Effect: Aches, colic, gout, indigestion, arthritis.

  • Fennel:

  • Parsley:

Physical Effect: Congestion, digestion, diuretic, immune system, kidney infections and stones.

Emotional Effect: Frigidity

  • Rose:

Physical Effect:     Eczema, mature skin

Emotional Effect: Grief, panic, loneliness.

  • Rosemary:

Physical Effect: Aching muscles, arthritis, dandruff, gout, hair care, muscle cramping.

Emotional Effect: Exhaustion, memory

  • Sandalwood:

Physical Effect: Bronchitis, chapped and dry skin, oily skin, strep throat, laryngitis.

Emotional Effect: Anxiety, depression, fear, grief, irritability and stress.

There are several ways to use essential oils for detox; separately or in combination, diluted and applied directly onto the skin, in the bath or inhaled.
