Meditation.

Meditation is an intensely personal and spiritual experience. It channels our awareness into a positive direction by transforming our state of mind. People who practice meditation get in touch with inner core of their being and mind. They have good control over their emotions.

How to start meditating

  • Look out for quiet place.
  • Wear comfortable clothes.
  • Close youe eyes.
  • Relax body muscles.
  • Let the thoughts flood your mind.
  • Deep breathe and slowly inhale or exhale.
  • You can use “aum”: or any such sound.

Benefits of meditating

  • Decreases muscle tensions.
  • Reduces anxiety attacks.
  • Increases b;lood flow and slows heart rate.
  • Builds self confidence.
  • Improves memory, concentration and willpower.
  • Improves sleep.
  • Reduces alcohol and drug dependency.
  • Increases serotonin production which influences mood and behaviour.
