Treatment for Boils
At home remedy for treatment of boils, using products found in your local grocery store.
For anyone who has ever experienced the pain and discomfort of a boil, you probably know that finding a remedy can be a tough task. We all know that a hot compress on the affected area and warm soaks can aid in bringing the boil to a head, but it can take days for relief to come. It has been my experience that the fastest and most effective way to get a boil to come to a head has been with the use of Turmeric.
Turmeric is a spice used in many Indian dishes, and can be bought in almost any grocery store. Because of Turmeric’s health benefits, it is now being packaged in a capsule form to be taken as a supplement. I have tried both, and find that it’s best and most potent in it’s powdered form. Many people mix 2-3 teaspoons of Turmeric with some warm water or tea, and drink the mixture morning and night for quick relief of boils. I have found that it’s much easier to swallow if mixed in a cup of hot chocolate, but you can experiment and find what you like best.
You can also make a paste out of the Turmeric powder with a little bit of water. Apply the paste to the affected area and cover with a bandage. Turmeric is a deep yellow color and can stain your clothes and sheets so make sure to cover the applied area, as not to stain your clothing. You can reapply the mixture every 2-3 hours. Although the powder form of Turmeric is best for immediate results, the capsule form is a good supplement to take on a daily basis to prevent skin irritations from coming back.

Colloidal silver works great, too. Colloidal silver mixed with bentonite clay is even better! Great article – I’m sure you’re going to help someone with this one!
