Why Do We Fast of Ramadan?

Fasting is a great opportunity to focus on re-pattern our lives to become more balanced. Through fasting we begin to learn how to deal with food habits, and how to control our behavior.

Fasting is to refrain from eating and drinking for several hours a day for 30 days. There is wisdom behind our demand of fasting, along with those of wisdom is to have the health benefits. Fasting is a great opportunity to focus on re-pattern our lives to become more balanced. Through fasting we begin to learn how to deal with food habits, and how to control our behavior.

Detoxification

, When the body is at rest. Becomes capable of directing the most energy in the direction to get rid of toxins. Fasting increases the rate of speed to get rid of toxins, thereby enhancing the performance of the cells. The human body gets rid of toxins through the liver, lungs, kidney, colon, skin, lymphatic system, spleen, kidneys and sinuses.

, The first stage of cleansing. The body removes large amounts of waste from the digestive tract. Removal of waste is concentrated in the first three days of fasting,  so mouth smell be bad .  The second phase includes clearing the mucous layer of the digestive system, fat, diseased and dead cells at this stage becomes to get rid of toxins more easily and quickly. . The last stage is the cleansing of toxins that may accumulate in the cellular tissue from birth, and the microscopic tubes that carry nutrients to the brain.

Improving thinking

,, Dr. Herbert Shelton who supervised the fasting of more than 40,000 people. He said that the removal of toxins from the body ,allowing  nutrients to flow more through the blood and the lymphatic system, which increases the ability to think.  Large amounts of blood and nervous energies have to be sent to the digestive organs to digest a meal. If these energies are not required there, they may be used by the brain for better thinking. This increase in mental acuity occurs after the first few days of fasting, which the body is busy in the disposal of toxins.

Promote healing

The body works to reorganize during the fast. The body to destroy diseased cells in a systematic manner, leaving healthy cells. The result is a thorough cleansing. Then be re-distribution of nutrients better on the new tissue which enhances the ability of its work.

,, Digestion of food is a complex physiological process. Fasting gives the digestive system to rest for a limited period. As well as the person is forced through fasting to reduced smoking and drinking coffee, as the smoking leads to increased gastric acid secretions, and delay the healing of ulcers, and also helps the appearance of ulcers faster. There are diseases such as inflammation of the esophagus retrovirus, irritable bowel fasting helps to relieve their symptoms by giving a chance to rest during the fasting.
