1.  How do you remove smudged mascara without totally removing the whole makeup?

If  you are wearing waterproof mascara, dip a cotton bud in eye-makeup remover and dab gently at it. If it’s not waterproof, just use water and use the other end to reapply foundation or concealer.

2.  Is there any age after which it is silly to try beauty trends?

It is completely appropriate for young girls in their late teens and twenties to experiment with the latest trend. After  that, it is hoped that we have developed our own beauty style and no longer feel the need to transform ourselves with the latest look.

3.  What is a fast and easy way to change makeup at the office for a dinner or party in the evening?

The key to adjusting makeup from day to night is to remember that there is much less light available in the evening, so makeup must be more defined to show up. Switch to a darker shade of lipstick or go for a darker eyeliner with paler or shimmering lips.

4.  What is the best way to make lipstick last?

It is important to create a base for lipstick to adhere to. First, use a foundation base. Then, using a soft pencil, fill in the entire lip. Now you can apply lipstick all over. You can also reverse the process, using lipstick before the lip pencil.

5.  What is the most important area to apply makeup on, especially for a person who does not really like wearing cosmetics?

Use a concealer to cover skin, imperfections, then use powder. Wear natural-looking blush, sheer lip color, and mascara.

6.  What can I do with large pores so they are not so visible?

Pore size is inherited so there isn’t much we can do about it. However, keep skin clean and clear so large pores don’t become so visible. Use oil-free moisturizers and foundations and a yellow-tinted powder, which has the added benefit of toning down redness in your face.

7.  How do you use loose or pressed powders? What is the difference?

They are exactly the same product. Pressed powder is loose powder that has been compressed into a compact. Loose powder is economical and allows for more complete coverage. It should be used at home. Pressed powder is great for touch-ups and travelling.
