How to Beautiful Skin in Monsoon

In monsoon season, we suffer from lot of skin problems and it is very necessary to take precautions to protect our skin from growing dull and washed out.

During the monsoon season, our skin needs lot of attention due to the change in temperature and increase in humidity. If we don’t take care of our skin in this season, there’s more likely chance of climate harming our skin badly. Increase in humidity causes lot of skin problems. In monsoon, the texture of our skin keeps on changing, one day it gets oily and the other day it has become totally dehydrated. Therefore more attention should be given to our skin during this season, otherwise our skin will grow very dull and there will be sudden breakout of pimples and rashes. One should follow a proper skin care regime irrespective of what type of skin we have. For clean and healthy skin, cleanse and moisturise it well. Use good quality products. In monsoon, we tend to get wet more often, this constant wetting and drying makes the skin overly dehydrated and your skin starts itching. Use a non-water based moisturiser if you often get wet. If you have dull skin, see that you exfoliate your skin often to clear the skin of dead cells and remove hardened oil from the skin leaving the pores free. Never stop using sun screen lotion even in rainy season as harmful invisible UV rays penetrates the clouds and damage the skin. In monsoon, many people suffer from fungal infection due to continue use of wet clothes and immersion of feet in contaminated water increases the incidence of this infection. To prevent it always keep your footwear dry and dust your body after shower with antifungal powder especially between your fingers. Follow this simple home tips to have healthy skin Normal skins– make a face pack of mashed banana or raw papaya and keep it for ½ an hour to have a refreshing and healthy glow on your face. Sensitive skin – take equal quantity of aloe vera and calamine lotion and apply on your skin for 15 minutes and wash it off gently. Oily skin – take lemon juice; mix it with milk powder enough to make a smooth paste. Apply on your face and leave for 20 to 30 minutes and wash it off in a circular motion. Dry skin – make a paste of soaked almonds, add to it in equal quantity curd and jojoba oil and apply for 30 minutes on your face. Wash it with lukewarm water.
