Although the laser resurfacing technology offers the very best in the cosmetic surgery category to remove acne scars, but the final result from laser resurfacing may take several months to fully appear.  As with other cosmetic treatments laser resurfacing can usually be repeated but if you continue to follow a strict skin care regimen recommended by the plastic surgeon and can maintain this rejuvenated look.  Even after the surgery is over and you have fully recovered it is advised that you use a sunscreen to protect your skin before venturing out in the sun.
