Naturally Whiten Teeth at Home

It’s easier than you think!

Everyone nowadays seems to want a brighter and whiter smile.  Nothing wrong with that!  Here is a process  to help you great white teeth at home, naturally.

First what you want to do is brush your teeth.  This lets the mixture that you’re going to be making work better.  Figure it this way; the mixture will work easier without the excess plaque on your teeth.

Next, you’re going to make the mixture.  What you’ll need is hydrogen peroxide and baking soda.  In a small bathroom cup, or something similar, put in some baking soda.  You can eye it and play around with the mixture.  Between getting the right consistency and the right amount, surely you’ll wind up with enough.  If you make too much, no worries; you can save it for later use.

After you have a little bit of baking soda in the cup, add some hydrogen peroxide.  I suggest using the cap to “measure”; this helps add a little at a time.  You want the consistency to be creamy, but not watery or cakey.  Having the right consistency helps apply it to your teeth.

To mix it, you can use the back of your tooth brush.  Then just wash it off with water.

After your consistency is right, it’s time to apply the mixture.  You can use your toothbrush to sort of brush it on.  Go in a vertical motion as if you were actually painting.  DO NOT BRUSH YOUR TEETH with the mixture!  Try to keep it away from your gums.  You can also use a q-tip.  This may feel quite strange but you can glop it on to your teeth and then rub it in.  You’ll get a good feel as to how it’s working out and you’ll have a better idea of how much you need, if you need more, etc.

Try to leave it on for 10 minutes.  The mixture does not taste pleasant, so if you can’t last the whole 10 minutes, that’s fine.  Whenever you feel ready to take it off, go ahead!  You can do this plenty of times since everything is natural.  Baking soda has been used to brush teeth, and hydrogen peroxide was used as a mouth rinse; so it’s safe.  Just try to refrain from swallowing the mixture!

To remove the mixture, you may want to swish with some water first to get the bulk of the mixture off your teeth and out of your mouth.  Do that a few times.  Then brush your teeth again and rinse with mouthwash if you like.

After a few times of doing this (3 times a week is a good system), you’ll seem your teeth gradually whiten.  Do not expect immediate dramatic results; it does take time!
