Some foods available in our Kitchen are really good remedies for different diseases.
Some of them are explained below:
Banana is good for stress and depression. Molly Kimball, RD, a specialist in Sports Dietetics in Fitness Center in New Orleans says that Banana contains 105 Calories, 14 grams of Sugar. A medium size Banana can enhance Sugar level in the body. Banana contains Vitamin B6, which helps to boost up the energy level of Brain.
They are good for High Blood Pressure. About 60 Raisins contain 1 Gram of Fiber, 212 Milligram of Potassium. It is also helpful in maintain the good health of Heart and brings Blood Pressure down.
Yogurt is best for Constipation or Gas. A study in 2002 about the Alimentary Pharmacology and Therapeutics say that 11/2 cup of Yogurt can push the food easily from the Gastrointestinal Tract.
The good Bacteria in the Yogurt increase the ability to digest foods like Beans etc.
Apricots are good in preventing stones in Kidney. Apricots are rich in Fiber, Sodium and Potassium. All these things prevent the wastage of minerals through Urine. Christine Gerbstadt, MD, RD, a nutritionist in the Private Hospital says that Apricots prevent the most severe kind of Stones in the Kidney.

It is good to convert the bad mood into good mood. 3-Ounce serving of Canned Tuna contains 800 mg of Omega Fatty Acids. It helps to make you feel good. The American Psychiatric Association has laid a great importance on the fish, which can be used to get happy. It acts as the mood-boosting food.
- Ginger Tea
It is a best remedy for Nausea. Many studies show that Tea made of Ginger is really good in Nausea and motion etc. Ginger is free from side effects as well.
It is good for the Stomach problems. Studies reveal that Eugenol is a compound that is found in the Basil. They are good for headache. The medium size potato contains 37 Grams of Carbohydrates and it ease the Headache by increasing the Serotonin level in the body. It contains below 2 Grams of Fats.
It is a good remedy for High Cholesterol level. 1 medium Pear has 5 Grams of Fiber; it helps in flushing out bad Cholesterol from the body. Cholesterol is risk factor for Heart Diseases.

John La Puma, MD, Director of Chef Clinic in California says that Honey has the antioxidants and the antimicrobial properties. These properties soothe the inflamed throat tissues.
Nuts are really good for lowering the Cholesterol level in the body. A hand full of Nuts, if taken before eating anything else maintains the level of Cholesterol in one’s body
