Aids

There have been lots of efforts to stop this deadly disease but they have never succeeded

Hi, my name is Sagar and I will be talking and informing you about AIDS. Aids stand for acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and the first form of AIDS is HIV. When you have aids your body’s immune system breaks down and can’t fight off viruses. Some of the statistic and how you get AIDS will be stated in my first paragraph. Also note AIDS is an incurable disease that is increasing due to the publics lack of knowledge.

The most common question is how you get it. Well I have the answers to that. The most common four ways are sexual intercourse, transmission through infected blood, needle sharing and breast feeding from infected mother to child. These are the most common ways to get AIDS.AIDS however cannot be transferred through hugging, sitting on toilet seats, kissing or shaking hands. Aids is mostly distrubted in Africa, where 60% of Aids all over the world is held, and they are increasing because they don’t have proper knowledge and vaccine about it. There have been cases with 1year old beautiful children with AIDS because of the mothers lack of knowledge. I hope you have learnt some of the most important and basic facts about Aids.

Another fact is that 25% of the people with Aids don’t even know that they have it. Well the ways you can tell if you have aids is have yourself tested, and to think about getting tested you have to see if you have the symptoms. The symptoms for HIV are flu-like symptoms which include fevers, chills and rashes. It might also be that you have the flu and not HIV so just wait a few days or get a check up. These are the symptoms of AIDS.

Aids have been increasing since its knowledge of being found. This is because we don’t have enough knowledge about it. For example 25% percent of people with Aids don’t even know they have it. We need to be more protective, for example we should be careful when getting needle’ and not sharing them. This is how to be safe from getting AIDS.

There have been lots of efforts to stop this deadly disease but they have never succeeded. There is one way, and that is to stop this Diseases is by being safe, using protection and not sharing needles. Another solution is to donate so we can research and find a cure, so please donate for a good cause.

I hope you have learned a lot about Aids and you will pass this important message so we can protect and live better lives. Also remember that Aids is an incurable disease and our public doesn’t know about it so we must explain it to them. Thank you for understanding this important topic.
