Some of the ways to get an AIDS or HIV virus includes, sharing needles with an infected person, being born to someone who has HIV, and coming into unprotected sexual contact with someone who is infected.
The first cause of AIDS and HIV is sharing needles with an infected person. Sharing drugs with an infected person will deliver infected blood into your system, which will spread rapidly. Ear piercing and tattooing needles can also spread diseases. The way to avoid disease in this way is to not use needles unless used by or told to do so by a certified professional. Since they are not regulated, not much can be done for tattooing and ear piercing needles except to avoid them altogether.
The second cause of these diseases is being born to an infected person. There is nothing you can do to avoid this from happening, you are a carrier of the HIV or AIDS virus or have a lifestyle that may make you mare prone to acquire them, and care should be taken before an innocent child’s life is ruined do to your recklessness.
And last of the causes of HIV and AIDS is unprotected sexual contact with someone infected with these diseases. These diseases spread by coming into contact with an open area of the body, so it is no wonder why sexual intercourse and sharing needles are the leading causes. There are many ways to avoid diseases in this way, but they are not always successful. The best way to avoid these diseases, is to abstain from sexual intercourse altogether.
In conclusion, to significantly lower the chances of an HIV, do not share needles illegally (better yet, don’t use illegal drugs at all), and avoid intercourse with anyone until married. Of course acquiring an HIV is not always your fault, but the risks can be nearly eliminated by following good habits.
