The condition of healthy feces and the condition of unhealthy feces and related diseases.
Asphalt-like Black Feces
If the feces are asphalt-like black stool, it is probably due to the bleeding of the upper part of gastrointestinal. The hemoglobin in the blood and the Sulfide in the intestines combined with Ferrous Sulfide to produce the black, shiny feces that look like asphalt. When this happens, it indicates that the bleeding had reached 60 millimeter. Thus, attention should be paid to certain foods, drugs and probably the fecal occult blood test can be done for the health diagnosis.
Occult blood Feces
They have the positive fecal occult blood test, known as occult blood in the laboratory experimentation. These feces are caused by a small amount of gastrointestinal bleeding. All diseases caused gastrointestinal bleeding may induce the occurrences of gastric ulcer and gastric cancer.
White Clay Feces
These feces suggest the infection due to Congenital Biliary Atresia ( a rare condition in newborn infants in which the common bile duct between the liver and the small intestine is blocked or absent), and they are more obvious among the children.
These white feces can even happen to patients who drink a substance known as Barium Sulfate before getting the digestive tract’s X-ray scan. This Barium Sulfate is given to the patients as way to assist doctor in visualizing the X-ray picture better.
Red Color Feces
If your feces turn red but do not show any red blood cells, it may due to your diet contain artificial red food coloring or you may have eaten lots of tomatoes or watermelons.
These red feces may also caused by the bleeding in the lower part of the gastrointestinal. Commonly cases are mostly bloodshot from the Anal Fissure (an unnatural crack or tear in the anus skin), or hemorrhoids caused by rectal Polyps. The red color here should not be ignored as it may deteriorate the condition of intestinal bleeding, such as Anal Fissure or intestinal Polyps.
Green Watery Feces
The sample of these green feces contains much water. They are particularly prevalent in the Staphylococcus Aureus Enteritis which is caused by the intestinal inflammation. They are more prevalent among the children. In some cases, they may be accompanied by fever and vomiting.
If bile salts (substance that make up bile, which is a fluid produced by the liver that help digest fat) pass through the intestine remain unchanged, it may also add green color to your feces. These green poops may also due to large consumption of green, leafy vegetables or artificial green food coloring. Babies may also get green feces when they are feeding food for the first time.
