Broken Leg Guide

Ever have trouble going up or down the stairs when you have a broken leg? Well this guide will give you tips on how to get around and how it heals. I’m not a doctor, but I have experienced this myself.

So have you ever had a broken leg? Feel disabled and it hurts so much? just want to punch anybody trying to help? Well this is the guide for you.

1.First of all the pain at first is going to be intense. Personally i had a soccer accident when a guy did a slide tackle and broke the biggest bone in my leg putting me out for weeks. But the pain will heal after about a week or so trust me.

2.Second is stairs. I know what your thinking with a broken leg and crutches it will be impossible to go up or down stairs but it’s possible. Lets start with going up.(note I do not take responsibility for anybody or thing that drops down the stairs because this is just how I do it and you don’t have to do this yourself.) OK to go up stand infront of the stairs with your crutches.(sorry i don’t have something for people with wheelchairs) Then put your foot up first on the stair and push yourself up with your foot and put your crutches on the stair that your foot is on.

For getting down it may sound strange but you can’t use your crutches for this one. You must put your hand through a hole in your crutches to bring them down with you yourself or you can ask someone to take them down for you. This important you must hold on to the handle or railing(That bar that runs on the wall near stairs that you hold on when you go up and down normally)and hold tightly and put your hand on the wall. Put the hand with the crutches on the wall. Then hop with your good foot down the stairs using the friction from the railing and your hand on the wall. This may not work if the other wall without the railing is too far from the railing. This is how i do it.

I hope this guide help everyone out there with a broken leg.
