Can Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome Affect Your Hormone and Cause Weight Gain?

How could polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) affect your hormones and/or cause weight gain? How would evening primrose oil supplements help reduce the syndrome?

Polycystic ovarian syndrome, commonly known as PCOS is a common hormonal problem faced by women of child-bearing age. Apparently, women with PCOS have been observed to have many small cysts around their ovaries, causing hormonal imbalance and simultaneously affecting women’s menstrual cycle.

Apart from that, this situation may to lead to the occurrence of acne and excess body hair growth. When women are in this situation, they are apt to be experience insulin resistant weight gain.   3. You did some great research on this. That is good to know that evening primrose oil can help reduce your chances of gaining weight. It is not very often that women want to gain weight. LOL! I do not suffer from POS, but there are a lot of women who do and it is good to know what to do in order to avoid gaining weight because of it.
