This results in us, trying to counterbalance it with less of relaxation, sleep and exercise. The rationale behind it is that when we are able to do all that is there in our list, we will have less stress and worry. We have to do this to become more successful and not feel guilty when the job is not completed. You may be also one of those who suffer from persistent insomnia.

It is sad but the ‘always running’ approach has a bounce back effect and is a good reason to suffer from chronic insomnia. Let us see a few things which promote chronic insomnia and also advice different solutions to assist you escape of this fierce circle.

Worry and anxiety over circumstances or problems are the characteristics of the ‘busy mind’ disorder and it does not allow your mind to stop thinking about them. Eating a lot of food late in the night is another reason for getting chronic insomnia syndrome. It is important for people who have sleeping problems to light meal early in the evening. It is good to have a regular sleep time as irregular sleeping habits can also result in insomnia. 

People are not able to sleep during the day if they work night shifts. This can be helped by taking help of window treatments and sleep mask and which will block natural light effectively and help you sleep.

Vitamin D is one of the elements which regulate the circadian rhythm and if you don’t get enough sunlight on your typical lifestyle, you may suffer from vitamin D deficiency which results in chronic insomnia. You can request a doctor to check your level of vitamin D and you can take a supplement. 

It is true that if you exercise regularly, you will be able to sleep better. You can also try this trick. If you wake up at 2 in the morning there is no use tossing and turning as it will only get you more frustrated. It is better to get up and do some work like cleaning the tub. Take out the vacuum and clean or you can do any other cleaning activity. You will surely get sleepy once you do these boring jobs and will get some sleep.

You don’t have to go crazy if you are suffering from regular insomnia as you can sleep now.
