Influenza, it is one viral condition that cost time, money and causes a considerable amount of discomfort. This season hits next month and will last as long as February. The question is will it be enough vaccine for everyone and will the manufactures predict the correct strains for this illness this year.
The illness manistests itself through the respiratory tract causing couh, runny nose, sneezing, body aches, headache and general malaise. The incubation period is three to five days and may effect individuals you live with as well as friends.
The treatment is rest, decogestants, fluids and tylenol or ibuprophen.
The cost and administration of the influenza is priceless in controlling the number of individual who will come down with this dread illness this year.
So, if there is any question as to whether you should get immunized. Just think of the alternative and if it is available. Get it anyway, look what you’d have to lose….
