Diabetes Prevalence
All statistics gathered from the National Diabetes Surveillance System.
Certainly diabetes will frighten folks to eat healthy for a while, but who is really at risk and why?
The highest percentages of adults with diabetes are located in south eastern states. One also cannot help but notice the high density of risk in West Virginia.
What causes such a high ratio of risk in this area of the United States and only here?
Are the customs of the region promoting the disease?
Is the health care the worst? the best?
What other factors could lead to the south east portion of the United States to be at higher risk of diabetes?
