Excess fat

Obesity and overweight person concentrate on their diet plans and exercise routines for reducing their weight. Attaining an attractive and slim body figure is not that easy as we think.

Even slim individuals have excess fat accumulation in certain parts of their body. Localized fat can be a big mental agony. People go behind products like the sauna belts, magnetic therapies, fat reducing herbal juices, magic machines and several creams. These products take advantage of the situation to promote their sale. Only a few of these products may be effective and help individuals to reduce localized fat.

Excess fat at the abdomen, buttocks and thighs are often not removed by dieting and exercise and people have to resort to liposuction.

Liposuction is a relatively modern medical technology that helps in remodelling the body figure by the removal of fat or adipose tissue from various parts of the body. Liposuction is a simple procedure with a low risk. This can be used by men and women of any age to remove excess of localised fat.

Liposuction is a division of plastic surgery and the procedure can be performed under local anesthesia. Ultrasonic and laser liposuction are the most common procedures. An instrument is introduced at the area where there is excess of fat. The ultrasonic or laser destroys the fart cells, which are then sucked out through a tube. This technique does not cause open wounds or changes in the pigmentation of the skin.

Cryogenic liposuction

Cryogenic liposuction is an advanced technique which has been introduced recently for an effective fat removal. This technique cools down the area under treatment and therefore leaves no wrinkles at all. The cryogenic cooling does not allow the temperature to exceed 40 degree C. It also prevents damages to any other tissue in the treatment region.

This can remove up to 25% of excess fat in a single sitting. Cryogenic liposuction is gaining popularity among individuals having fear of pain scarring and expenses.

 Pros and Cons of Liposuction

  • Majority of liposuction is performed for cosmetic reasons. Fat folds at the love handles (waist), excess fat in the chin line and thighs can be effectively removed.
  • Can be effective in improving the sexual life by reducing fat deposits on the inner thighs and abdomen. The access to vagina will be much easier after this treatment.
  • Helps in shaping the body for those who can’t afford to diet or have time for exercise or these have been ineffective.
  • The risks of liposuction include shock, fluid overload, infections and bleeding.
  • Individuals with heart problems, hypertension, diabetes, allergies and addictions to smoke and alcohol are not good candidates for liposuction and if performed, they should be closely monitored.

She sees no problem in dieting as she thinks He wouldn’t want her to be unhealthy. But nothing like liposuction. Very well written, good article.
