This article is about how can we select a healthy food for ourself.

It is common wish among the masses to stay healthy. Today the most important thing in life is time. Being sick you can lose a lot of that. Also those medical services are so expensive that we can hardly afford them. So it’s in our best interest to stay healthy. Now the question arises that how do we do it? Answer is simple that we eat right kind of food that is balanced. In this order we will have to come up with a food list for our daily life that is healthy and easy to follow. Our body needs nutrients on a daily basis and only a healthy diet can provide us that. Reduction of calories in our daily diet is also very important. Only in this way your body can remain healthy.
Following is list of few healthy food items which can help tremendously in this regard.
Fruits and Vegetables
    Fruits and Vegetables play an important role in complete daily diet. It is easy to cook and delicious in taste. Vegetables with green leafs provide maximum vitamins. Vegetables can be cooked with chicken or fish meat or you can simply steam them. Same is the case with fruits. Fruits and vegetables are  delicious and very healthy. But one must always chose fresh fruits because they have more juice and more essential nutrients that are very much needed in our daily life. One of the best things about these two is less calories. Fruits are tasty and can be eaten anytime. Also they help build new and healthy blood cells.
Whole grains
    Wheat grains contain a lot of fiber which is very important regarding the decontamination of the body. Fiber acts as sweeper in the body for unwanted materials and particularly the colon. Moreover they are helpful in repairing red blood cells.
Above were some things to be included in our diet. Now we must also know what not to eat in our daily routine. Following are few representing the case
Junk food
    As the name suggests it is junk food. It only contains fats and calories and nothing nutritious. Burgers, chips and candies are few of the examples. It might save you time but you are saving it at the cost of your health.
Beer and other alcoholic drinks
        We love drinking beer and all sorts of alcoholic drinks. Well its time to put a stop to this habit if you are concerned with your health. They have a lot of carbohydrates. Moreover they tend to create great harm for your liver and can have you gain weight in a very small period of time.
Processed food
    Food processed through canning, freezing or dehydration is not good for health. Processed meats like hot dogs and hams might be some of the worst of these foods. They even can lead to cancer.
    The only way to stay healthy is to maintain a absolute and well balanced diet throughout the year.  You can protect yourself from different illness and can live a happy life just by paying a little attention to the food you eat.
