Precautions to avoid Bed-wetting or Enuresis :
- Make use of mild soaps for bathing.

- Use petroleum jelly to guard the genital area.
- Timely remind your child to empty his bladder every two hours or so rather than waiting until he ‘has to go’.
- If your child is still wetting after all this then try to use a bed-wetting alarm machine.
- And if the bed-wetting alarm hasn’t resolved the problem then oral drugs may be tried.
- Remember that more or less all the children will outgrow this problem by teenage years, regardless.
