Identify The Early Stages of Skin Cancer

For any disease, early intervention makes a big difference for a full recovery. Skin cancer is no exception on this point.

For any disease, early intervention makes a big difference for a full recovery. Skin cancer is no exception on this point. The first step, you identify the best chance of surviving this disease. There are five stages of skin cancer: stage 0 to IV. In the early stages, there are almost 100% chance of survival and full recovery. When the cancer reached stage III, the survival rate drops to 60%. In stage IV, it goes down to 16% which also means the skin cancer is 84% fatal.

This is developed on the epidermis, or outer layer of skin, so it is visible. Typically, it shows and grows on the skin that is exposed under the sun, which does not mean that other areas of the skin are not likely to develop cancerous cells in the skin.

In the early stage of skin cancer, cancer cells are still confined to the skin and do not reach other organs, ligaments or bones yet. Therefore, when processing during these steps, there is less risk of fatality.

Stage 0 is also called carcinoma in situ, abnormal cells are identified on the skin near the same size of a pea. However, these abnormal cells are not cancerous yet, but the cells will spread to its surrounding tissues and later may develop into cancer.

Cancer is formed on Phase I. A tumor or lesion of about 2 centimeters or the size of a peanut is obvious. For melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, the tumor was about 2 millimeters thick. If the cancerous lesion or tumor is larger than two centimeters in diameter, but the cancer has not been beyond the skin cancer is now coming on Phase II. And on this point, cancer cells are about to invade other tissues.

The surgery is the cure for this isolated. It is recommended that everyone should evaluate themselves regularly for any unusual spots, moles, lesions, patches, sores, wounds that have not healed for a while or any abnormalities of the skin. Be aware of any change in skin. If you suspect to consult your health care provider immediately.

Cancer cells of the skin are increasing rapidly. On stage later, they will attack the surrounding tissues, lymphatic vessels, veins and capillaries and travel to different parts of the body. Rapid response and early intervention is the key to stopping the spread of cancer cells. So do not wait and act now!
