Leaky Gut Syndrome
Leaky gut syndrome is a chronic health condition.
It affects people in every nation. It is thought that the condition develops over time and is caused by several different factors. As the name suggests, leaky guts are more permeable than normal. They allow toxins, fat, waste and microorganisms to enter the bloodstream. This is not supposed to happen. The gut is designed to restrict the movement of harmful substances which enter the body through the mouth.

Leaky Gut Syndrome Symptoms
People with leaky gut syndrome have less of the beneficial bacteria which help us to digest food. They may experience several symptoms. Usually the condition is not detected because doctors do not test their patients for it.

Symptoms of leaky gut syndrome include:
Heartburn
Insomnia
Gluten intolerance
Food allergies
Muscle cramps
Malnutrition
Bloating
Researchers feel that several chronic conditions can be linked to poor gut health. For example chronic fatigue syndrome is thought to be caused by the condition. People who change their diet to include probiotics usually find that they are not constantly tired any more. This is because probiotics help to restore the natural balance of good and bad bacteria in the stomach and small intestine.
There are several other conditions that have been linked to leaky gut syndrome. These include:
Autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis
ADHD
Psoriasis
Arthritis
Food allergies
Seborrehic dermatitis
