Lyrica is a medication that is prescribed for Fibromyalgia sufferers. This medication is also used for people that have seizures also. It is also prescribed for people that have diabetes and are struggling with nerve pain. Lyrica is most usually started out at a small dose and then increased up gradually.

One big thing to keep in mind is that there is a chance that this medication can make you have suicidal thoughts so if you are having them then it is an emergency and you need to see your doctor or the hospital right away. Any thoughts of suicide in anyone ever is an emergency situation for sure.

Lyrica should be taken about the same time of day everyday so that the medication in your system is steady. You should not stop taking it without doctor approval because you might have to take less instead of just stopping the medication. You should not drink with this medication at all.

The most common side effects of Lyrica are:drowsy, dizzy, anxiety, balance problems, memory problems, constipation, dry mouth. There can be more serious side effects and if you get them then you need to see you doctor about them. Also some medicines may interact so check with your doctor to make sure the medication you are taking and Lyrica can be taken together. This can be a very useful and helpful medication for many people that are struggling with fibromyalgia or the other things it does help.
