Relief Foot Pain Caused by Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar Fasciitis is one of the most common foot problems that runners or people with flat feet suffering from. People with flat feet endures painful feeling at the foot arch especially the first step in the morning. Use the methods in this article as painkillers of the foot problem.

If you feel terribly painful in the morning when you step on the floor, but relieved in an hour or two, and the pain of foot sharpened after a long walk or long-time standing, then you are probably suffering from plantar fasciitis.

The problem usually exists on middle-aged man or woman associated with prolonged time of walking while carrying heavy weights (may caused by sudden increase of weight, such as pregnancy), or jobs require walking on a hard surface. People born with flat feet is easiler to have such problem.

If you are having the above problem, you may try to relief foot pain by the following methods.

  1. Prepare a bag of ice and place it under the heel and the position where it feels pain after walking or standing for a long time.
  2. Buy shoe-pads with cushion at the heel position, and wear shoes with cushion / air support. Choose shoes that specially designed for flat feet.
  3. Stretch the lower leg frequently using the wall or staircase to help – Stand one feet away from the wall with both hands push against the wall, put your legs one in front of the other like arrow-shooting; Or stand on a staircase with only front-half foot (so that your heels are off the edge of the staircase.). Keep the posture for about 10 seconds, you will feel the lower legs tightened in both case.
  4.  Put some marbles in front of you, keep your heels on the ground and try to grab the marbles with your toe.

 The above methods may help you to relief foot pain caused by plantar fasciitis, keep doing it every day and you foot problem may be solved. If it does not help, you should consult your doctor without hesitation.
