Suffering From Sarcoidosis

Sarcoidsosis (sar-koy-DO-sis) is a disease of unknown cause that leads to inflammation.
Some seem to think that it is a disease that comes from Pine Trees.

My father has a rare disease called Sarcoidosis. He is always feeling tired and sleeps a lot. He is on a medicine called Prednisone. Prednisone can make a person look swollen and large. My father takes a certain amount of Prednisone. If he misses more than one day without taking it, he starts feeling sick. If he stops taking the medicine completely, he could die. It is a medicine that can be bad for you while it is helping you at the same time. My father has been on it for years.

Sarcoidsosis (sar-koy-DO-sis) is a disease of unknown cause that leads to inflammation.

Some seem to think that it is a disease that comes from Pine Trees. When my father started suffering from the disease, I did not know what was wrong with him. I remember seeing him looking very sick when I was a child. He would loose weight, feel weak, have night sweats, he would break out, and his stomach began to look large. Now he complains about shortness of breath, pain in his toe, hair loss, and poor vision. I have heard my father complain for years that he was tired. It did not mean nothing to me to hear him complain since I have been grown. I always tell him that he is just no good, but maybe he really is tired. He doesn’t seem to be when he is enjoying a good card game.

When it comes to trying things to help the body, my father takes chances. He is always looking for something to give him energy. I tell him to be careful trying so many things. He came across a product spray called HGH. HGH is Human Growth Hormone, a natural hormone produced in the pituitary gland of the brain. It can reduce body fat, and produce growth in children. It also plays an important role in adult metabolism. HGH is the master hormone controlling many organs and body functions. My father tells me that he has not been quite as tired since he has been taking it, and he has not been taking his Prednisone. Yet, he is making a doctor’s appointment to be on the safe side.
