According to England’s chief medical officer, Sir Liam Donaldson, swine flu is set to re-emerge in coming months.
There were an estimated 5,000 new cases last week which shows a marked jump on the previous week’s 3,000.
School children have been the worst affected with the majority of new cases emerging from schools.

The winter is set to be the main period for the attack of the virus following the warmer weather lull.
More worryingly the Health Protection Agency has reported one case of the flu possibly resisting the Tami flu combatant.
There have been around thirty instances of this worldwide and officials are confident that the main virus would not contract this characteristic of resisting the drug.
