The All Natural Cream That Stops Ezcema in Its Tracks
A recommendation for an all natural cream that treats and alleviates the itching caused by ezcema.

For a number of months since my son was born I have looking for anything and everything that will put an end to his endless scratching, you see my son has a severe case of eczema. Eczema is a general term for many types of skin inflammation which can affect people of any age, from the young to the old.
Eczema most commonly causes dry itching skin that itches or burns. Intense itching is usually the first symptom which usually leads to dry scaly or crusty, thickened skin from scratching. In some people it will only last for a few hours or days, however; in other cases such as the ezcema my son has, it lasts over a long period of time, causing an unbearable iching everyday. This type of ezcema is called chronic dermatitis.
My son has been on an endless supply of different ointments including hydrocortisone ointment as well as lotions and oils but none of these things seemed to help him in fact all of them seemed to make him worse!Common sense told me to keep his skin very well hydrated so I applied his creams up to 4 times daily, depending on how badly he was inching and how badly his skin was inflamed. I felt so helpless because some of them even seemed to sting his skin on top of the endless itching.
When his ezcema never cleared up from any of these prescribed medications I began looking for anything that would help him so instead of seeing the doctor I went to a pharmacist and asked what they would recommend. The pharmacist suggested to try a lotion called Aveeno because her son had eczema as well and she said it worked very well for him.
Before buying I researched it a bit more and out of nowhere an article on Triond called ‘Great Facial Products’appeared about Aveeno, however; it was about something entirely different it was for skin conditions such as Acne. I was rather impressed by the fact that this product was an all natural product, unlike other creams which have chemicals in them so I said what the heck,it couldn’t hurt, that is for sure.
The natural additive in Aveeno contains 100% colloidal oatmeal, colloidal, meaning milled to an ultra-fine powder which is known for its natural ability to hold in moisture and relieve dry, irritated skin. Dermatologists have recommended the body moisturizer and anti-itch products for many decades to temporarily protect and help relieve a range of skin conditions, including winter dry skin, eczema, and poison ivy/oak/sumac as well as soothe chicken pox, hives and sunburn.

I have to admit the cream was a bit expensive but as long as it helped a few extra pounds/dollars really didn’t matter! After roughly 1 week of usage I am pleased to say that it has helped a considerable amount, in fact, my son scratches very little now and his eczema has almost cleared up. All the medications as I already said seemed to make him worse but this natural product Aveeno cream actually helped and I would highly recommend it to anyone suffering with eczema!

A very nice sharing Tanya. In extreme conditions you did what a mother should when medical practice remains just what it is, a practice.

what important news for those suffering from ecema. Aveeno is mild and good for chapping I know. Now I find it’s good for something more serious.

I’ve been using Aveeno Baby Creamy Wash and Lotion since my now 3-year old son was diagnosed with mild eczema. I also watch what he eats since some foods seems to make it worse.
