Treat Asthma a Respiratory Disease with Homemade Remedies
Asthma a common respiratory disease, it affects the trachea and bronchial tubes by becoming inflamed and plugged with mucus. Causes the airways to narrow, restricting air going to the lungs, and makes it difficult to breathe. Asthma attacks are sudden recurring attacks of labored breathing, chest constriction and coughing, characterized by wheezing, gasping, and shortness of breath and inability of speech. Recipe Ginger ale: Boil water in a medium sauce add handful fresh coarsely chopped and peeled ginger root, reduce the heat until the water just steams Strain out the ginger pieces from the water, than add about 1/2 – 3/4 cup honey. The mixture should be very sweet and very spicy. Allow it to cool, than bottle it, and place in the refrigerator. When you’re ready to enjoy some ginger ale, fill your glass 1/2 full, then top off with a good mineral water. Add a squirt of lime juice if you prefer.
Eating more cold water fish with high content of fish oils. Fish like salmon, halibut, sardines cooked in mustard or tomato sauce, along with herbal and nutritional methods can reduce asthma symptoms
- Make mullein oil in the form of tea and drink; it fights against respiratory congestion
- For instant asthma relief drink a warm glass of milk.
- Drink a hot black coffee very hot as you can.
- Mix a garlic clove with a glass of milk. Boil it and drink it when it cools off.
- For instant relief: take a teaspoon of ginger juice mixed with honey and drink it.
Remedies and herbs that help cure asthma attacks:
- Steaming hot ginger tea with minced garlic, honey and lemon helps asthmatic patients.

It increases circulation in a person’s body, means more oxygen to the entire body, especially to the lungs. G i n k g o l i d e s are known to help reduce the symptoms of Allergic Asthma.
- The bark of A n r j u n a tree has benefits in the treatment of Asthma. It is taken in a powder form sprinkled on the preparation of rice cooked with condensed milk.
- Powdered Bay berry bark is also effective in the treatment of asthma.
- Regular use of garlic and ginger can reduce the severity of asthmatic attacks
- Dry grapes are beneficial in asthmatic patients.
- Bishop’s weed is an expectorant. It can relieve dried up phlegm within the respiratory tract. It can be taken with buttermilk for best results.

People use steroids and inhalers for persistent asthma. Herbs are much better than such treatments which give only temporary relief. Good article.

That\’s insane! Herbal remedies can really help asthma? I struggle with a ventolin inhaler and the preventative doesn\’t do any preventing

I’m going to have to try some of these I hate taking my rescue inhaler everyday so maybe I can try these to help me not have to take it so often.
