Two Very Bad Diseases
These are some of the two diseases that caused great grief.
The Bubonic Plague
The bubonic plague was very horrific around the 1700-1800’s. Mostly spreaded around New England. The bubonic plague was very dreadful and caused much greif.

Also a little fun fact: Some say the song “ring around the rosies” was first song by a little boy in the time of the bubonic plague. “Ring around the rosies” (they would lay roses around the victims) “Pockets full of Posies” (The family would usually put posies in the pockets) “Ashes, ashes we all fall down!” (They would burn down the victims houses)
Spanish Influenza
Spanish Influenza was a virus spread around in 1918. But it didn’t just happen in one area. It spread around to nearly every part of the world. You wouldn’t know who had the spanish influenza because it mostly caught around healthy adults. There wasn’t many signs to look for until it was to late.
Spanish Influenza would get caught in your bloodstream. So it could spread around very fast. It killed many people. I dont have a fun fact for this one. But i hope you learned something.
