Unbelievably Bizarre Sleep Syndromes
While these sleep syndromes may be mysterious they do exist around us. There is no “if” or “but” and definitely no doubting that these sleep disorders are linked to unexplainably weird syndromes.
Kleine-Levin Syndrome

Kleine-Levin syndrome or Critchley’s syndrome is a strange neurological disorder characterized by excessive desire for sleep, food and sexual disinhibition as well. This rare condition mainly affects adolescent males between the ages of 15 and 25 years.

Many teenagers with this sleep syndrome prefer to lie in bed and eat to excess. They can spend up to 20 hours in bed, getting up only to go to the bathroom or to eat and display very unhealthy sexual appetite. When awake, they may show symptoms like lack of energy, abnormally high sex drive, confused, hypersensitive towards light and noise, disorientation, lack of emotion, compulsive eating habit, impulsive behavior, and may also experience hallucinations.
Somniloquy

Somniloquy refers to sleep talking that occurs at all stages of sleep, including dream and non-dream sleep. Unlike sleepwalking (somnambulism) which apparently occurs during the stage 4 of sleep (or during the deepest levels of sleep), Somniloquy can happen during both rapid eye movement (REM) as well as during non-REM sleep.

People with Somniloquy have no conscious awareness that they are speaking while asleep. Even though is regarded as a type of parasomnia, it is not generally considered as a serious medical consequence like sleep apnea or bruxism. Sleep talking does not only happen among older people but also happens quite often among kids and young adults.
It’s advisable to avoid heavy meals during bedtime, manage stress and practice proper sleep hygiene to help combat the act of talking while asleep.
Restless Legs Syndrome

This is a condition affecting people with Restless legs syndrome (RLS) before 45 years old, and over time, its symptoms can gradually get worse and happen more often when one’s is inactive and resting, and tends to become worse in the evening and at night.

Actually, add syndrome. My leg go up like Pyramid triangle on one side. (Either side or sleep on back). Then one of my leg would form a triangular position uphill on its top of knee.
