Ways of Getting Rid of Psoriasis

A few methods of tackling the skin condition Psoriasis.

Psoriasis is a common skin condition which appears as red patches or flakey skin. This is a quick guide to the few methods and products I have used which have worked.

T/GEL Shampoo

This shampoo from netrogena is the best of all the shampoos i have tried, i suffer really bad with psoriasis covering most of my head and behind my ears. There are dramatic results after 2 weeks of use

EPA Fish Oil

Available from places such as Holland And Barrett, take 3 capsuals a day with a meal. As with most vitamins this will take few months to get results but is worth it as it provides longer lasting results.

Sunbeds and Sunbathing

This is the best method if you are wanting a ‘quick fix’, however uv rays are harmful and can cause skin cancer. A few 3 minute sessions on the sun beds fades the psoriasis quite a lot but comes back quickly within a few days of not using the sunbeds.

  3. Good article, I suffer from this and use Nizoral medicated shampoo twice a week and tea tree shampoo the rest of the time as I onlt have it on my head, ears and eyebrows. Tea tree is quite good, might help x

  4. Try donating plasma, it is the only thing that has ever really helped me

  5. You can also try Ionil Plus Shampoo (you have to ask for it from the Pharmacy).

    Thanks for the info,
