Ways to Keep Healthy This Season
With all the talk that’s going around of the flu and swine flu I am starting now with me and my family in taking steps to stay healthy this flu season.
You know there is so much talk this season about the flu and especially the swine flu and from the way I understand I dont really know what all the big scare is about because the swine flu has been around before now. It just seems to more of an outbreak of it this time. I dont get the flu shot I have had a really bad reaction to it one time as well as my kids did too. So since that time I dont get the flu shot and the shot for the swine flu will be no different. My family and I are fairly healthy we may get an occasional cough here and there during the winter time but that’s about it. I strongly feel the key to keep from getting the flu or swine ful is taking steps to stay healthy. We have a routine that we do year round and that is all of us including the kids take a multivitamin everyday and we juice we have a juicer and I use fresh fruits and veggies all of us drink at least 2 glass of jucie a day the juicers come in vary different sizes and price ranges. Of course you dont have to have a juicer you can buy regular store bought juice. Also especailly this time of year it’s really important to practice good handwashing when you wash your hands you need to have plenty of hot water and an anitbacterial soap, wet your hands and apply the soap working the soap all over both of your hands and do each finger indivaully and the fingernails then rinse and make sure to dry your hands compelety. Hand sanatizer works well too if you use it correctly by applying on your hands rubbing it all over your hands until dry. Also covering your cough and sneezes will cut down from the germs spreading into the air. Of course there are people with health issues or whatever the case may be to require them to get a flu shot Im not debating that. That is a personal choice Im just sharing ways to cut down the risk of getting sick.
