About the diabetes that occurs in many people.

There are two main types of diabetes. These two are Type 1 and Type 2. In this article, I have written about Type 1 diabetes. Hopefully, this will be very helpful to you and I hope this is useful.
Diabetes occurs when the amount of Glucose in the blood rises higher than what it actually should be.
What we should understand about blood Glucose and insulin.
After we eat food, it is broken down into sugars inside the gut. Glucose is the main sugar. It is absorbed into the gut wall before passing into the blood stream. The cells in the body use the Glucose for energy. It is important that the level of Glucose should not rise or fall too low when it comes to health.
After we eat, the level of Glucose starts rising. There is a hormone called insulin which should also rise with the Glucose sugar. The job of the insulin is to make your cells take in the Glucose from the bloodstream. While some of the cells use the Glucose for energy, some is also converted in to fat stored for energy.
On the other hand, when Glucose level starts falling, this is possible when we do not eat, levels of insulin also fall.
When this happens, some of the fat is turned into Glucose and sent back into the bloodstream to keep the levels of blood glucose normal.
The actions of some parts of the body depend on the hormones such as insulin which is released into the bloodstream and when your body does not make enough insulin, Diabetes develops. In some cases, diabetes can also develop when the insulin does not work properly on the cells of the body.
What about Type 1 diabetes?
This type of diabetes starts developing in children. Only a few people at a time will get this diabetes in the UK alone.
This illness can develop within a few days or possible within a few weeks because the pancreas does stop making insulin. The illness is treated by taking insulin injections and a healthy diet.
But why does the Pancreas stop making insulin?
Type 1 disease is an ‘Auto-immune disease’ as many people would call it. Usually, the immune system makes the antibodies to fight against the bacteria and other sorts of germs. But in this case, the Auto-immune diseases, makes antibodies to fight against our own parts of the body. The antibodies destroy the cells that make the insulin and the reason why is that it could be a virus which makes the antibodies. Yet, it is not known what it could be.
The symptoms of diabetes!
Below I have listed three symptoms that occur hen your body first develops the Type 1 diabetes,
1) Being very thirsty a lot of the time
2) Passing lots of urine
3) Becoming tired and feeling unwell
Please be aware that when you take treatments, the symptoms would gradually fade. However, if you do not take treatment, you might fall into a coma and die due to the amount of Glucose rising and the acids that start forming in the bloodstream.
