This is The Cause Little or Amount of Menstrual Blood

Menstrual blood that comes out when a woman “coming months” is not always the same. Sometimes small amounts, only in the form of brown spots were completed within three days.

But in the next month could be very common and form clumps. Then what is the cause of more or less menstrual blood?

Dr. Irfan Mustafa Mulyana, SpOG, an obstetrician from Bogor Leuwiliang Hospital explained that menstrual disorders due to menstrual blood volume is divided into two, namely hipomenorrhea and hipermenorhhea .

Hipomenorrhea occur if the volume of menstrual blood is less than 3 pads a day, while hipermenorhhea if menstrual blood volume more than 5 pads a day. But along the way, hipermenorrhea terminology used one with menorrhagia, ie if the duration of menstruation is more than 7 days or more of menstrual blood volume of 80 cc ( 5 pads more a day ) .

“The cause of the least volume of menstrual blood or menstrual duration of less than 3 days for example, congenital abnormalities of the uterus is small ( hypoplastic ), hormonal abnormalities due to low estrogen - progesterone,” said Dr. Irfan Mustafa Mulyana, SpOG.

While in the case of menorrhagia can be caused by abnormalities in the uterus due to uterine tumors, blood clotting disorders ( hemophilia ) or excessive hormones, both estrogen and progesterone.

Too many foods that tend to increase estrogen in the blood, though not always, so that menstrual blood may be more.

” It does not matter menstrual blood would be many or few , are important regularly . Maintain the condition of the body , not too fat , exercise more , and multiply the consumption of fibrous foods , ” Dr. Frizar message .
