10 Ways to Stay Fit

In this modern day society it is getting easier and easier to get lazy and slip into an overweight state. So I have come up with a list of a few things you can do that may help you stay in a little better shape.

  1. Walk or ride your bicycle short distances instead of driving
  2. Take the stairs instead of the elevator
  3. Join a recreational sports team, they aren’t usually very hard but they can be a lot of fun and help you stay in good shape
  4. Eat slower because it will allow you to feel hungry so you won’t end up eating too much
  5. When you eat out make sure you still eat sensibly
  6. Explore new and healthy foods because you may find something healthy that you really enjoy
  7. Plan some time throughout your week to exercise on your own, it isn’t only healthy but it can also be a great stress reliever
  8. Park farther away from stores so you have to walk farther and get a little more exercise
  9. When you go on vacation plan activities that require a little bit of exercise such as walking around a zoo or a museum
  10. Get active while being inactive, do things during commercials or during loading times on your computer instead of just sitting there and waiting

This is a quick little list of things you can do that should help keep you in better shape. The most important thing however is to keep positive and keep trying. If you try hard enough you will eventually find something you enjoy and that is very healthy for you.
